Auction 2026: Sports!
Everyone loves a good game: the challenges, the spirit, the payoff of practice drills, the basket at the buzzer, and the gooooooooallll!!! And, heck, we’re all participants in the game of life, sometimes taking one for the team. Here’s the hand-off for Auction 2026:Sports: Don’t drop the baton! Let’s have some fun as we help Team DUUC hit it out of the park!

AUCTION 2026 SITE:
The Auction 2026 website provides navigation to all that you’ll need to register and purchase tickets, access donation forms, check out the catalog of Auction items, and review the calendar of events. And it’s on this site you’ll bid on Silent auction items!
TICKETS (= Registration to bid):
Online/Silent only: Tickets/Registration – $5. Find what your heart desires and hone your bidding – and out-bidding – skills! Oct. 30, 4:00pm – Nov 2, 8:30am
Live: Tickets/Registration – $15 covers Silent and Live with food and drink. Saturday evening Nov. 1. Food at 5:30pm; Live bidding 7:00pm. Channel your favorite SPORT and come dressed in character (optional but fun)! Childcare with dinner and activities! If you need childcare, please purchase your tickets soon with childcare request noted so we can plan appropriate coverage and food.
ONLINE/SILENT AND LIVE formats. What does that mean??
Online/Silent: A selection of items will be offered on the Auction bidding site for online-only bidding from 4:00pm Thursday Nov. 5 to 8:00am Sunday Nov. 8. Tickets to music and plays, jewelry, puzzles, family-friendly activities, homemade jams and breads, bike rides, committee/team baskets, clothing, fix-it advice and services, and more! Find what your heart desires and hone your bidding – and out-bidding – skills!
Live: Saturday evening Nov. 7. Channel your favorite safari animal or come outfitted for viewing from your jeep (optional but fun)! Start with heavy hors d’oeuvres and drinks at 5:30pm, and head to the Sanctuary at 7:00pm for Live bidding on dinners, drink-tasting, events and activities, and a vacation spot or two! Facilitated by our favorite wry-and-dry-humored auctioneers Toni and Allan Morgan. Raise your bid number high – and keep it up! Children will have their fun, too. Childcare with dinner and activities!
DONATIONS and forms:
- Who can donate? Any DuPage UU Church member or frequent visitor can donate an item or service or party/event. Committees, Teams, Groups: As always, we would love to have you participate with a fun donation! Check out the details for ideas and deadlines.
- What can I donate? So many options! Start with what you’re interested in or what you’re good at doing or sharing! Auction donation suggestions
- Please submit your Live and Silent donation forms as soon as you’re able! in order to help us post items as we receive them and to prep for the Live auction.

- Donate parties or events (and don’t forget to check the parties and events calendar for conflicts)
DEADLINES, hard deadlines!
- Register/purchase tickets early! But if you must delay, deadlines are: Live auction walk-ins until 6:30pm Nov. 7 at the church; Silent auction ticket/registration (online purchase only) until 9:00pm Nov. 7
- Live auction donation form submissions due Saturday Oct. 24
- Silent auction donation form submissions due Wednesday Oct. 28
- Delivery of donated items to church: Sunday Nov. 1, 8:30 – 11:30am OR Wednesday Nov. 4, 10:00am – 1:00pm. Contact DuucAuctionTeam@gmail.com if you cannot deliver your items during these times.
