Our Adult Choir sings for various services throughout the year. All singers from middle school age through adult who can carry a tune are welcome to join. The choir sings music in a wide range of musical styles. The vocalists work hard and have fun, all in a supportive environment.
YUUth Ensemble is open to all young people (ages 9-18) who play an instrument past the first year level. The ensemble plays twice a year: at the Holiday Music Service and then again in late spring. The youth often play music suggested by our members, especially if it has special meaning to UUs. Always looking for new members on any instrument!
Children’s Choir sings two or three Sundays during the year. Occasionally they will join with the Adult Choir. All school age youth are invited to join. Notices about future performances are announced in the newsletter. There are usually two to three half hour long rehearsals on the Sundays prior.
DUUC Players is a group of adult and talented high school instrumental musicians. We have string, woodwind and brass ensembles, plus a small chamber orchestra, and we provide classical music for two or three services each season. Some of our members also play solos for services with piano and/or choir.
