When we organize, we build power in our communities for justice, accountability, and healing. Since 2020, UU the Vote has built new networks of spiritual and political communities to #VoteLove and #DefeatHate.

In 2024, we, the DUUC Good Troublemakers, answered the call of our faith to organize and mobilize our congregation toward empowered democratic action! Through our outreach efforts, our congregation reached over 124,544 voters leading up to the general election. In January 2025 we were one of 53 UU congregations to be recognized as a “Good Trouble Congregation” by the UUA.

Our Convenant

We, the DUUC Good Troublemakers, are answering the call of our faith to organize and mobilize our congregation toward empowered democratic action. To this end, as “ordinary people with extraordinary vision”, we commit to:

  • “stand up, speak up, and speak out” in pursuit of collective liberation, and
  • contribute to building an inclusive, multi-racial democracy.

UU the Vote 2026 Launch:
Ignite Solidarity, Reimagine Democracy

Democracy is so much more than an election. It is not determined by the courage or the cruelty of our leaders. We the people make it real through our practice of showing up for one another, building trust, and embodying our shared values in public life.

And yet elections can be sacred openings where this nation joins in collective practice to reimagine our future and shape who we become together.

Join us on Wednesday, March 25 at 7pm ET as we gather in faith, courage, and collective purpose to ignite solidarity and reimagine democracy together.
