In-person & Online. National and global crises seem to happen at a relentless pace these days. Add these communal tragedies to the personal challenges that each of us faces in day to day life, and it can be daunting to navigate. Grappling with these events is at once more difficult and more hopeful for those of us who parent or work with children. How do we support children in the face of calamity? Can our UU principles guide us as we help our children navigate crises big and small? Several parents and parental figures in our congregation share personal stories about parenting through crisis—and how it has helped them lead a better life.
