For Peace and a New Hope?

In-person & Online. The poet Archibald MacLeish wrote “The young dead soldiers do not speak. Nevertheless, they are heard in the still houses…. They say: whether our lives and our deaths were for peace and a new hope or for nothing we cannot say; it is you who must say this….”  How will we respond?


Virtual Social Time, 11:30-noon by Zoom. Bring your coffee and join us following the service for Social Time hosted by Rev. Connie Grant. You’ll be assigned to an automatically-generated “breakout room” for a half-hour of conversation with a small group of people. A discussion question related to the service will be provided. Science Sunday, Noon, in-person or online.  Join Scott Thompson and Mike Winter for a discussion about the importance of science literacy. They will discuss why they continue to learn and explain science.
