Science Sunday @ Noon, In-person and Online via YouTube.  Scott Thompson revisits the science of mind and consciousness as considered in some recent innovations in artificial intelligence. There will be two major parts to this talk. The first will set the foundation for understanding some conceptions and misconceptions about how the mind works and the phenomenon of consciousness. The second part will explore some tentative relationships to nifty new artificial intelligence (A.I.) technologies.
