Jewish Heritage Group Chanukah Party
Sunday, December 14
The DUUC Jewish Heritage Group celebrates the meaning of Jewish Heritage in a Unitarian Universalist context.
Some participants grew up in a Jewish home or have a partner who was raised in a Jewish family. Others developed a practice of celebrating Jewish holidays as adults. We welcome anyone who wishes to learn about and participate in traditional Jewish celebrations or other Jewish oriented activities. As stated by the UU Jewish Awareness group of the UUA, we work to address “the Jewish aspect of Unitarian Universalist multiculturalism”. The annual Chanukah Party will be on Sunday, December 14 at 5PM in Kreves Hall. We’ll light up the room again with all our menorahs and candles brightly shining!  And, we will enjoy a festive meal of traditional Jewish foods and beverages. Contact Bev Becker  (email: jewishheritage@dupageuuchurch.org) to reserve a spot at the party and to offer a dish to share at the meal. All are welcome! Please “come, come, whoever you are!”
